It’s a great destination to take a dip in one of two rock pools - a small toddler pool and a larger main pool that is deep enough to swim laps in. Both fill from the ocean on high tide - at times it can be too rough to swim in at high tide, but at low tide, when it is protected from the ocean, it can be extremely tranquil. Snorkelling is an awesome experience in the main pool. The list of sea creatures that can be spotted in Blue Pool is enormous with sea slugs and snails, urchins, starfish, anemones, crabs and more. It is a natural experience not to be missed. REFLECTIONS HOLIDAY PARK Ideally situated in Bermagui at the gateway to the Sapphire Coast and a pleasant stroll away from Blue Pool is Reflections Holiday Parks. Tease your senses with the aroma of freshly cooked fish of the day and watch the sunset glisten on Horseshoe Bay with its rugged headlands and Mount Gulaga in the background. Offering grassy areas and a playground for families, it is just a leisurely stroll from restaurants, cafés and popular Fisherman’s Wharf. Enjoy some fantastic walks or bike rides or take activities to the water with game fishing, snorkelling, diving or whale watching. Nature never felt so good, so book your getaway today. Hidden below the surface of Bermagui’s Blue Pool is an underwater wonderland for you to discover. PHOTO: Andrew Brown/Destination NSW
