An ideal pitstop Positioned on the South Gippsland Highway, just a short drive from the wide sands and crashing surf of the 90 Mile Beach, The Woody is an ideal pitstop for holiday travellers or day trippers coming to or from the beach. Dog-friendly outdoor areas Open every day of the week, it has a relaxing and dog-friendly beer garden with picnic tables and market umbrellas, a sunny veranda, as well as a family-friendly garden that also welcomes your dog (ideal for those who want to enjoy a meal and a drink, while keeping an eye on the kids and your pooch). A welcoming feel Positioned on two acres of land, The Woody has a spacious, open and welcoming feel, with a dining room that accommodate up to 70 people in one sitting, as well as private event spaces available on request. If you prefer a more intimate space, it has a Cognac Room in which to enjoy some quiet drinks. Wide range of meals and drinks Along with an array of beers on tap, premium wines and spirits, The Woody serves a full range of cocktails, and has a Happy Hour Mondays and Tuesdays from 4.30pm-6pm. And if you prefer not to drive back to your campsite or accommodation, a courtesy bus is available. Counter meals are available Monday and Tuesday from noon to 3pm, while the bistro is open Wednesday-Sunday from noon until 3pm, and from 5.30pm on those days (with last orders on Sundays taken at 7.30pm). Live music The Woody regularly has live music (check out the hotel’s Facebook page for forthcoming gigs) and it’s also wheelchair accessible and has all-access toilet facilities.
