Heesco has become a local legend in Yarram for his magnificent mural work around the town, and the Ship Inn Motel’s operators Paul Frost and Jody Twite say they are delighted to have the artist’s distinctive and eye-catching work on the front of their motel. “It’s the perfect mural for us, and having the large ship painting out the front certainly helps our guests know that they’ve arrived at the correct address,” Paul said. “It’s a real talking point!” Paul and Jody have been operating the Ship Inn Motel since 2015, and say they want guests to “feel totally at home and have a really good time” at the motel. With 26 rooms, catering for singles, families or groups, the motel has a swimming pool, and provides free Wi-Fi in every room, as well as a 32-inch TV, bar fridge, outside table and chairs, and a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. The motel also offers adjoining rooms for families (when available) and a romantic spa room for couples.
