WORANGA HOUSE Just five minutes out of Yarram you’ll find Woranga House, a delightful self-contained bed and breakfast. Although separate from the main residence, Woranga House is a stylish, spacious and extremely comfortable open-plan unit suitable for a couple. As the only guests at any one time, and with hosts, Susie and Trevor Colvin, knowing how to respect your privacy, you are sure to find peace and relaxation here. A 300-metre walk from the front gate is Won Wron State Forest and the world famous Tarra Bulga National Park is also close by, with many varied walks among pristine temperate rainforest. Stay a while and explore this stunning region with Susie and Trevor at Woranga House... it really is worth it! YARRAM HOLIDAY PARK Looking for a delightful getaway among the lush farming lands of Yarram? Then you can’t go past the Yarram Holiday Park. Operated by Nigel and Marion Shaw, the park is fabulous for families, with a large playground including a trampoline, go-karts for hire and a fun new jumping pillow. The gardens of the Yarram Holiday Park are beautifully maintained and the camping sites are spacious, available powered or unpowered, with or without en suite, and suit all modes of camping and budgets. Nigel says they want to share this wonderful part of the world. “It’s a great place for cycling and Yarram is a great hub of the wheel to attractions like Tarra Bulga National Park, Agnes Falls and Woodside Beach,” he said. SHIP INN MOTEL Paul Frost and Jody Twite have been operating the Ship Inn Motel since 2015, providing a welcoming stay for visitors to the Yarram area. “We love it here,” Paul said. “The mountains, rainforest behind us, ocean right in front. And it’s central to everything – it’s just perfect.” Paul and Jody’s aim for their guests is that they feel right at home during their visit. “We want them to feel part of the family,” Paul said. “It’s all about them. We want them to have a really good time.” The motel offers 26 rooms for singles to families and groups, and with compli- mentary continental breakfast you’ll get a good start for a day of adventuring. A must see, not just for those staying at the motel, is a 45-metre long, three-metre high mural along the side of the building depicting the ill-fated paddle steamer Clonmel, a very early aircraft, a FE2b, and other significant landmarks.
